Orville Bailey is the Chairman and CEO of CustomPartNet, an innovative online platform providing product costing tools and educational resources for design engineers, students, and inventors. CustomPartNet empowers users by offering accurate cost estimation and knowledge in manufacturing processes. Beyond this, Orville is also an active angel investor through his family office, GrowthMetric LLC, where he supports early-stage ventures, helping to foster innovation and growth in various industries.
In 2010, Orville co-founded EqualLevel alongside Edward Potocko. EqualLevel is a leading eProcurement platform that helps organizations achieve significant cost savings and ensure procurement compliance. As CEO, Orville leads the overall company strategy, business development, and sales and marketing initiatives. Under his direction, EqualLevel has become a recognized name in the eProcurement space, providing cutting-edge solutions that streamline purchasing processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Orville has a long and distinguished career in eCommerce, B2B spend management, and corporate leadership. Before founding EqualLevel, he co-founded and served as CEO of B2eMarkets, a pioneer in the enterprise Electronic Sourcing (eSourcing) market. At B2eMarkets, Orville successfully raised over $60 million in venture capital across four funding rounds, steering the company towards a successful exit through its acquisition by VerticalNet Inc. in 2004.
Earlier in his career, Orville played a key role at General Electric (GE), where he was instrumental in the creation of TPNRegister, GE's joint venture with Thomas Publishing. He initially served as Vice President of Commercial Operations before becoming President of TPN. At GE, Orville was part of the corporate eCommerce business development team and led some of the first initiatives in procurement, supply chain management, and strategic sourcing during the late 1990s, helping GE establish itself as a leader in B2B spend management.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Orville is also recognized for his achievements in athletics. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), where he was an honorable mention All-American in basketball. He is currently the second leading scorer of all time at WPI and was inducted into the WPI Hall of Fame in 1991. His educational journey continued at Harvard Business School, where he earned an MBA that fueled his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation.
Throughout his career, Orville has consistently demonstrated a commitment to innovation, leadership, and the advancement of technology. His contributions to the evolution of procurement and spend management solutions continue to shape the marketplace today, and his active role as an angel investor ensures he remains at the forefront of emerging trends and developments in the tech industry.

Mr. Taylor plays a leadership role in numerous not-for-profit organizations including The Youth Guidance Agency, a Chicago based organization servicing at-risk youth in 6 cities across the country and The V Foundation for Cancer Research.

Joyce Johnson

Joyce Johnson serves as Chairman of Pacific Gate Capital Management, LLC (PGC). Joyce supervises PGC's overall investment activities including evaluating and communicating with PGC's Sub-manager candidates, participating in the development of PGC's investment products, communicating with our strategic partners and investors and support the firm’s business development. Joyce is also a member of the Board of Director and U.S. Investment Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, she formerly served as the Senior Managing Director and Co-Head at Relativity Capital. Prior to that, she served as the Managing Director of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. from 1993 to 2002, where her primary responsibilities included transaction sourcing, investment analysis and general management. She was also responsible for distressed investing in both private equity and trading platforms. In 1995, she founded JJM, LLC. She held senior investment responsibility for more than 60 investments over the course of her nine-year tenure.
Joyce's additional responsibilities included underwriting senior and mezzanine loans for middle market companies that had limited access to traditional financing sources. Previously, she served as a Vice-President in ING Bank’s corporate restructuring group and an Associate in Citigroup’s Leveraged Capital finance division. She serves as Chairperson of Marana Aerospace Solutions, Inc. She serves as an Executive Director at EMC Holdco, Inc. She served on the Board of Directors of 13 companies and four privately held companies.
She is a 2007 Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Joyce holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Denver in 1987

Pierre brings with him a wealth of experience in advising, coaching and consulting small and medium-sized businesses, particularly in the area of finance. He utilizes his extensive background in finance to assist clients in identifying potential avenues to finance cross-border transactions. Pierre has a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Management from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. Previously, she was the Director of Business Development and Strategic Initiatives for the Joseph Center and All Related Entities, which included oversight of the Illinois SBDC-ITC- PTAC at the Joseph Center, and the past President of the Illinois Entrepreneurship and Small Business Growth Association and member of America’s SBDC Professional Development Committee that is responsible for the annual training conferences for the over 1,000 Small Business Development Centers across the country.
Melissa began her career in accounting as a small business accountant in a CPA firm and held positions in the banking, construction, and electronics industries. Melissa also served over seven years in the public sector in local government as a legislative aide and chief of staff. She also holds a degree in Digital Media Production, is a Six Sigma Green Belt, an Adobe Education Trainer Certified, Adobe Captivate Certified, and a Certified Business Development Advisor. She is GrowthWheel Elite User. She is in the top 40 of over 2,000 advisors in 29 countries certified to use GrowthWheel, a tool to help small and medium businesses focus and take action to grow their businesses. Melissa is also a graduate of the Living Word School of Ministry.
She is an award-winning Director of Sales and Marketing with over twenty years in the hospitality industry with a proven ability to manage multi-functional teams and multi-million-dollar budgets. In 2017, Melissa was named to the State of Illinois 18-member Project Reimagine Committee as Chair of the Minority Business Development Sub-Committee. As a result of that project, Melissa chaired the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) State Network’s Assistance for Minorities and Underserved Communities Strategic Planning Group from 2018-2021. In 2018, Melissa was honored at America’s SBDC national convention as the 2018 Illinois SBDC State Star because of her outstanding leadership, guidance, engagement, and support provided within the Illinois SBDC Network. In 2021, she was named chair of the Small Business Development Center State Network’s Operational Excellence Strategic group and received the Shining Star Mentor Award during the recent state conference. During her tenure as Director of the Illinois SBDC-ITC-PTAC at the Joseph Center, her team provided workshops and training to over 20,000 people and 11,000 hours of one-on-one counseling, assisting over 3,800 aspiring and established entrepreneurs. During that time, 3,000 jobs were created and retained. Additionally, $30 million in export sales and government contracts with a dollar value of $1.1 billion were secured. In May of 2023, Melissa was appointed to the Illinois Small Business Development Center’s State Advisory Board.

Sharon loves learning new technologies, creating technology-driven solutions, and working on computer systems. She is passionate about analytics and problem solving and loves the constantly changing nature of the computer technology industry.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of North Carolina with concentrations in Computer Science and Statistics. Sharon also holds a teaching certification that allows her to teach students in middle school through college.
Sharon is an avid runner and has run a combined total of 100+ marathons, ultra-marathons and half-marathons. As the Director of the Kingdom Running Club (KRC) at Living Word, Sharon has instructed and coached thousands of marathon and half-marathon runners in crossing the finish line.
Sharon has also coached individuals in making major lifestyle changes, resulting in better health and fitness and the avoidance of often costly and unwanted medical procedures. Under her leadership, the KRC has raised and donated over $250,000 to charitable organizations.
Sharon and her husband, Tony, have been married for 35 years and have four children and two grandsons. Sharon is using her passion for computer systems and running to change lives and to help spread the kingdom of God throughout the world.
